Is the hCG Diet Safe for the Blood Sugar?

Do you have normal blood sugar levels? If so, you can pretty much follow any diet plan that is available out there.

If you are suffering from high or low blood sugar levels, though, you need to be concerned about which type of diets you’re going to follow.

The hCG diet, albeit effective for weight loss, is a calorie restricted diet that might have a profound effect on people who have issues with their blood sugar levels.

In this article, I will talk about the hCG diet and if it affects your blood sugar levels at all.

Before you start with any diet plan, not just the hCG diet, you need to consult first with your physician and dietitian. Make sure that they give you the go signal before you start dieting.

Now, the hCG diet is a heavily calorie-restricted diet in that you need to limit your calorie intake per day so that the hCG diet can really burn those fats.

Given the fact, the premise of the hCG diet is where you will eat only 500 calories per day and introduce the hCG hormone to your body via hCG injections or hCG shots.

However, you must remember that what I’ve said is just the popular phase 2 of the diet; the hCG diet plan entails 4 phases.

The first phase of the hCG diet is where your blood sugar levels might be higher than other phases. The first phase or the “loading” phase is where you will eat a lot of calories to basically tell your body that it is preparing for the strenuous hCG diet journey.

Since you will be eating a lot of food, your blood sugar levels might rise. It is recommended that you eat 2000-2500 calories per day before embarking on phase 2 of the hCG diet.

Phase 2 is where you will eat only 500 calories per day and slowly introducing the hCG hormone to your system.

Phase 3 is where you will gradually increase your calorie intake until you reach 1500 calories per day.

And finally, phase 4 is the maintenance stage where you should eat 1800-2000 calories per day.

The only phases where your blood sugar levels might rise are phase 1 and phase 4 of the hCG diet.

But, does it rise to really high levels that you should be alarmed? No, it doesn’t. Even though phase 1 of the hCG diet allows you to eat a lot, it doesn’t necessarily mean that your blood sugar levels will be at very high levels.

Furthermore, if your blood sugar levels rise on phase 1, your blood sugar levels will gradually decrease when you enter phase 2 and phase 3 of the hCG diet.

With that being said, the hCG diet is effective and it is pretty safe to do. If you fear about doing the hCG diet, just consult with your physician beforehand.

The hCG diet is every effective for weight loss and it is pretty much safe for your blood sugar levels.

Steak has always been one of my most favorite foods in the world. I frequent the gym and for a post-workout meal, I need to have a lot of protein to help my muscle grow and recuperate.

Now, if you’re on the hCG diet, most people would completely shy away from steaks, thinking that this food is detrimental to their hCG diet plan. But, that is just a myth and there is actually a recipe out there that makes use of the humble beef steak. In fact, this steak recipe is very delicious and nutritious in that you can actually eat this dish even while you’re on phase 2 of the hCG diet.

In this article, I am going to share with you a recipe called the hCG Diet Peppercorn Steak with Tomato. Consider this dish a complete meal and in total, you only get around 180-200 calories. That is more than adequate enough to be in any of your meals during the day.

As with all other Steak dishes, the hCG Diet Peppercorn Steak with Tomato can be easily cooked and it only takes a few minutes (depending on how you want your steak cooked). So, without further ado, here are all the ingredients that you need in order to cook this amazing steak recipe:

  • 100 grams of Lean Steak
  • 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Juice
  • 1/8 Teaspoon of Sea Salt
  • 1/8 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Hot Pepper Blend
  • 1 small or medium Fresh Tomato

Directions:

  1. The first thing you want to do is brush the lemon juice on the steak itself. Make sure that all of the sides are covered to give you the best flavor possible.
  2. Next, sprinkle all of the seasonings (sea salt, black pepper, and hot pepper seasoning) and gently massage it on the steak. Again, make sure to incorporate all of the sides of the steak for maximum flavor.
  3. The steak can be cooked in two ways: Grilled or Broiled. It is up to you which you prefer, but I highly recommend grilling the steak as it will bring out the best in any steak.
  4. Now, depending on the size of the steak, you want to grill them until it is medium-rare (to me, medium-rare is the perfect cook on any steak). For a 100-gram of steak, it will usually take anywhere between 3-6 minutes.
  5. Slice the tomatoes thinly and line them up on the place.
  6. Place the cooked steak on the plate and garnish it with Parsley if you want and that’s it!

Again, this hCG Diet Peppercorn Steak with Tomato recipe only contains 180-200 calories depending on the size of the steak and other ingredients. This dish is very safe to consume even when you’re on phase 2 of the hCG diet.

The hCG diet encourages you to eat healthier foods, because as I’ve said, in phase 2 of the hCG diet, you are only allowed 500 calories per day. Even though that calorie restriction has been lifted when you enter phase 3, the mindset that you’ve had in phase 2 will be carried over for the rest of your life.

With that being said, you’ve probably grown some fondness for vegetables. I am not a vegetable lover by any means before. I just stayed away from vegetables because I do not want its flavor at all.

  4. During the course of its cooking time, there will be small bits of broccoli that will fall off. Scoop these little bits and set them aside for now.
  5. After the broccoli is cooked, put them in a blender and turn it into a puree.

This requires more than one visit to the dentist and each session will span over 30 to 60 minutes. A rubber shield or protective gel is applied to the gums to protect the soft tissues in the mouth. A bleaching agent is then applied to the teeth. Then, a light treatment (UV) is performed to enhance the bleaching agent and gel effect. After this, the procedure is complete.

The teeth whitening process costs vary according to the location, product dentist uses and other complementary services offered with the procedure.
